Community Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic professional to develop, promote, implement, and evaluate community programs to engage local participants.
Job DescriptionRole: Community Development Officer - Casual
This role offers approximately 15 hours per week, generally across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons, with finish times around 7pm.
The ideal candidate will have experience in youth-related activities and a strong understanding of community development principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, promote, and implement community programs to engage local participants
- Foster positive outcomes and opportunities both personally and as a community
- Report to the Youth Club Manager and work collaboratively with the team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services, or related discipline
- Experience in youth-related activities
- Hold a light rigid driver's license and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or ability to obtain)
