Support contract management and procurement activities at a leading gold producer, gaining hands-on experience in the industry.
About the Role- Prepare and issue RFQs and tenders to ensure timely procurements.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and compare pricing for cost-effectiveness.
- Administer contracts and track compliance for smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
- Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations to establish strong relationships.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with site teams to forecast procurement needs and align with business objectives.
- Work under the supervision of contracts or procurement specialists to develop skills and knowledge.
- You will be currently enrolled in a Commerce, Business, Economics, or similar degree program.
- You have experience working with relevant software and systems through studies or placements.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills and effective communication skills across verbal, written, numerical, and graphical formats.
- You are able to uphold high work standards and build strong relationships with peers and leaders.
- You have the capacity to work independently to meet personal and team goals.
- You hold a valid manual driver's license.
- You are willing to live and work remotely.
