Job Title: Geological Operations Expert

A vital component in global steel production, our coal is used to create steel for building and infrastructure worldwide.

We operate five mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical advice to support strategic decision-making and optimize mine scheduling and performance.
  • Work closely with Mine Managers to resolve technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with mine staff and project teams to ensure well-structured plans are in place to meet operational and business objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive operating experience in underground coal mining.
  • Detailed understanding of coal mining processes.
  • Working knowledge of relevant mining legislation and its application.
  • High level of planning and problem-solving ability.
  • Previous experience within underground mining operations (preferably coal).
  • Previous experience with mine planning tools.
