Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Paradise Indian Cuisine in South Australia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our authentic Indian cuisine in a fun and stylish atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new menu items and dishes to enhance our culinary offerings;
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and food safety in the kitchen;
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation;
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that showcase our Indian cuisine;
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies;
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen operations;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Indian cuisine;
  • Hold an AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask;
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal working hours as required.

Annual Salary: AUD 70,000 - 80,000
