About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate and support the delivery of learning and engagement programs for Firefighting Services. As the Training and Capability Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring training schedules are met, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with ASQA/NZQA standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination of the annual Firefighter training schedule, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance requirements.
  • Analyse training data and stakeholder feedback to enhance program effectiveness and address learning needs.
  • Ensure compliance with ASQA/NZQA standards and internal quality frameworks across all training initiatives.
  • Manage training documentation and invoicing processes, maintaining accuracy and adherence to organisational policies.

About You:

You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for learning and development. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in emergency response environments (Desirable)
  • Qualifications in business administration, training, or equivalent experience is also desirable
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in LMS, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools (Power BI a bonus)
