Job Title: Training and Capability Development Specialist
About This OpportunityAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of training programs focused on family violence prevention and response. Your expertise in MARAM training and practice will drive a culture of learning and capability uplift within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise staff to deliver high-quality training and coordinate capability uplift work aligned with the MARAM framework.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs at foundational, identification, and intermediate levels, incorporating expert facilitation skills and a strong understanding of the MARAM framework.
- Transform training and workforce data into engaging graphics and material to inform departmental executives, showcasing your attention to detail and ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Manage staff with substantial autonomy, providing mentoring and guidance to build their training delivery and development skills.
- Support staff to embed evaluation and feedback mechanisms into training, building an evidence base and ensuring continuous improvement of materials.
- Contribute to strategic leadership activities within the Learning and Capability function, anticipating risks to training delivery, developing solutions, and leading communication activities.
- A wealth of experience managing staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is essential.
- Strong understanding of family violence dynamics and seasoned experience in delivering training programs are required.
- Travel is necessary for this role, and a valid driver's license is a must.
