Job Title: Remote Site Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic electronics, electrical or instrumentation technician to join our national maintenance workforce.

The ideal candidate will have previous field experience and a willingness to travel to remote locations throughout Australia and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel extensively to maintain service delivery within various instrumentation networks.
  • Maintain and repair Doppler Rain Radars, Automatic Weather Stations, Sea Level Monitoring Stations, Wave Buoys, Satellite ground reception and space weather instruments, Wave height buoys, Flood warning / rainfall monitoring systems, and Communications, telemetry and instrumentation systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have strong technical skills and the ability to work in a team environment. They will be required to possess excellent communication and customer service skills and be willing to receive training on all equipment.

As a Field Services Technician, you will report to and be mentored by a Team Lead within our organisation. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, contractors, support staff, and the public to deliver exceptional customer service.
