About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Enterprise Business Solutions team as a Platform and Change Support Specialist. In this role, you will contribute to and coordinate contract and program administration support to the section as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.
  • Coordinate and participate in contract management, including developing scope, managing tendering processes, and monitoring contract performance.
  • Process analytical results and present data in formats suitable for interpretation.
  • Assist with risk assessment and risk management activities for a project or program.
  • Manage expenditure, analyze and report on financial information.
  • Approve or certify payments, entitlements, and other forms of expenditure with appropriate delegation.
  • Reconcile invoices and initiate investigations where necessary.
  • Provide advice and technical expertise in specific areas of project activities.
  • Maintain expert knowledge in relevant areas and technical expertise to guide project and program activities.
  • Coordinate incoming mailbox correspondence and draft responses to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the projects team as required.
  • Monitor contractor expenditure, review, and report as required, and assist in drafting documents.
  • Verify invoices by interrogating departmental systems and ensuring invoices comply with contractual obligations.
  • Provide secretariat support by taking minutes, updating actions registers, coordinating meeting schedules, and distributing relevant information to attendees or uploading relevant information to Sharepoint.
  • Provide change support with relevant change management tasks and activities, as well as provide assistance with platform support, as required.
  • Assist with ad hoc activities as required to support the team.
  • Work collaboratively and flexibly within the team to deliver quality outcomes in a diverse, challenging, and rewarding environment of competing priorities.
Requirements
  • General administrative skills.

  • Ability to deal with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Communicates confidently and presents verbal and written messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner.
  • Demonstrates high-level accuracy and attention to detail in the processing and recording of information.
  • Ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment with a high workload.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving with a solution-focused approach.
  • Undertake assurance activities to ensure service providers are meeting their contractual and financial obligations.
  • Undertake accurate financial data entry into SAP and SAPGUI.
  • Experience in using, or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge to use, various systems, including Project Management, IT Change Management, and Financial systems.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, including contracted providers.
Desirable
  • Project Management Experience.
  • ITL4 Foundation Certification - IT Service Management.
  • Software Life Cycle Management experience.
  • Experience with procurement and/or contract management within Government.
