Production Planning and Scheduling Lead

We are seeking a Production Planning and Scheduling Lead to enhance production planning and resource scheduling in our Manufacturing Execution System. The successful candidate will optimize resource allocation, improve production timelines, and align operational goals with the MES's functionalities.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between production teams and digital systems, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Identify areas for improvement in the area of planning and detailed scheduling that can be achieved with new APS solutions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of APS solutions, their possibilities, and functionalities.
  • Ensure the MES supports accurate production planning, capacity management, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the MES team to align system functionalities with real-world production requirements.
  • Validate and test scheduling functionalities within the APS to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
  • Provide insights on resource allocation, lead times, and production constraints to improve planning.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
  • Familiarity with MES and APS systems, including their integration into manufacturing workflows.
  • Analytical skills to increase planning and scheduling processes based on data insights.
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
