Job Title: AHP4 Team Manager

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network offers a unique opportunity for a skilled leader to join our mental health services team. As an AHP4 Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in championing rehabilitation and social inclusion.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering exceptional consumer-centred care, driving service excellence across the Community Residential Service. This full-time, ongoing opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on community mental health outcomes while advancing your leadership career with South Australia's largest and most trusted healthcare employer.

About the Role:

  • Lead the provision of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and human rights-based rehabilitation services within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Establish, maintain, and foster effective linkages with other mental health and social care services, public and NGOs to facilitate the successful transition of residents to their community and supports of choice.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement processes to ensure continuity and quality of consumer care and outcomes.
  • Ensure that service provision and activities are consumer-focused and professionally conducted.

Requirements:

  • RN3: Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate.
  • AHP4: Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and general registration with PsyBA or Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia or Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in the leadership and facilitation of change management and the ability to exercise and engage in effective and proactive change management behaviours.
