Planning Consultant Role Overview

The Senior Oracle EPM Cloud Planning Consultant leads implementation of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS) from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.

This includes delivering business-critical planning solutions with finance teams, implementing automations using Smart View, Data Management, Groovy rules, and EPM Automate; building forms, dashboards, and business rules for dynamic planning processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional experience with Oracle Planning Cloud, hands-on design skills, and proven ability to connect planning solutions to source ERP data and other EPM modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead flagship Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service implementations end-to-end.
  • Deliver business-critical planning solutions with finance teams.
  • Implement automations using Smart View, Data Management, Groovy rules, and EPM Automate.
  • Own client relationships and manage expectations.
  • Lead multiple planning workstreams in a dynamic cloud environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong functional experience with Oracle Planning Cloud.
  • Hands-on design of model elements: calculations, allocation logic, Smart View, Data Management, forms, dashboards, and reports.
  • Proven ability to connect planning solutions to source ERP data and other EPM modules.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with finance stakeholders.
