Job Title: Cloud Strategy ExpertDescription:

A seasoned cloud strategy expert is required to lead an enterprise client in building their cloud roadmap.

  • Requirements:
    • 15+ years of IT experience with 6+ years as a senior architect and 5+ years of public cloud experience.
    • Strong leadership skills and expertise in leading pre-post sales activities as a cloud architect.
    • Proficiency in one of the public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Responsibilities:
    • Steering complex future domain planning activities and projects.
    • Development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks and approaches.
    • Implementation, deployment, and program management for Azure IaaS, PaaS technologies.
    • Creation of SOW/BOM/architecture design documents based on customer requirements.

Technical Requirements:

  • Cloud storage best practices, scripting, storage security.
  • Solid understanding of virtual machines, imaging best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking including virtual network designing.
  • Ability to automate Azure operational tasks leveraging PowerShell, Azure automation.
  • Architectural knowledge to guide customers in achieving high availability, disaster recovery for workloads running in Azure.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture (Kubernetes).
  • Good understanding of cloud cost/billing propositions.
  • Good understanding of open-source technologies used for native cloud applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mid-senior level experience.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Information technology job function.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written skills and familiarity with architecture tools.
  • Azure or AWS solution architect certification is required.
  • Togaf or any other architect certification is a plus.
