Technical Account Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to work with our customers in Australia, helping them to get the most value from cloud-based services. This is a dynamic role that requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work backwards from customer needs to define a support strategy and deliver expert advice on cloud services
  • Assist with project launches and operational issues, ensuring cloud environments remain healthy, cost-effective and simple
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, risk management and opportunity identification
  • Consult with partners, including developers and C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with cloud experts, business developers, consultants and sales account managers
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics and pre-launch planning
  • Solve problems across multiple customers as they migrate workloads to the cloud
  • Uplift customer capabilities through workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience working with cloud services or other technology offerings, as well as experience in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead. A working knowledge of software development practices and technologies, understanding of technology management and background working with public sector customers would also be beneficial.
