Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled Staff Specialists to join our Emergency Medicine team in a permanent full-time and/or part-time capacity.
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, educating medical staff and students, allied health professionals, and interested community groups or nursing staff.
- Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide a healthy and safe environment within the hospital service.
- Understand accountability to uphold the principles and practices of the Health Service's Health and Safety Management System.
- Promote good health and safety practices to staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a regional referral and trauma centre with a varied and dynamic case mix. The department receives 50,000 presentations per annum, offering a challenging and rewarding experience for Staff Specialists.
Staff will have the opportunity to develop their skills through involvement in patient safety, audit, research, and service planning activities.
- Varied case mix including paediatrics and a significant trauma caseload.
- Support satellite hospitals and rural sites through Telehealth and in-person support.
- Opportunity to become involved in the development of a new Emergency Department.
