Advanced Trainee Registrar Role

Overview of Opportunity:

The Department of Medicine at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a skilled Advanced Trainee Registrar to join their team on a Temporary Full-Time basis for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

This opportunity allows you to advance your practice in general medicine through exposure to an exciting case mix in a supportive environment under the supervision of a collaborative unit of Specialists.

As a successful candidate, you will work closely with and learn from a wide array of Specialists with extensive breadth of expertise, develop clinical leadership skills required to practice as an RACP Fellow, and contribute to the provision, development, and maintenance of an effective, efficient, and equitable clinical service to hospital clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Posess a qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
  2. Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  3. Successfully completed the RACP written and clinical examinations or equivalent with RACP certification.
