About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Procurement and Support team at Pepperstone. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our end-users, ensuring that our IT infrastructure and services meet the business requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users via various communication channels, including email, phone, and incident management tools.
  • Assist with prioritizing, scheduling, and escalating incidents to appropriate channels, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google EUC-related technologies to build and support a complex and distributed EUC environment, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain desktop standard operating environments, including software and application change and release management, to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Document and educate end-users on technical procedures and best practices, aiming to resolve incidents at first contact and reduce recurring calls.
  • Monitor the performance of EUC devices and provide recommendations to ensure the effectiveness of SOE and hardware, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
  • Perform occasional out-of-office hours maintenance visits to assess technical issues or implement new solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Participate in site visits to other Pepperstone office locations to assist with EUC support, ensuring seamless support and assistance to our global team.
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications or experience in Windows desktop environments, including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Intune) and operating system deployment.
  • Certifications or experience in Google desktop environments, including Google Workspace and Chrome OS.
  • Experience in a EUC administration and support role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and services.
  • Demonstrated experience in the administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Intune) and operating system deployment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting knowledge of Mac operating system and basic knowledge of Linux operating system.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and Azure Active Directory.
