Lead Climate Resilience Program

The role of a Program Director is to oversee the implementation and management of a climate resilience program in Cambodia. This position requires an individual with extensive experience in managing complex projects, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring effective communication.

About The Role
  • Establish a Program Management Team, including recruitment and onboarding of key staff.
  • Broker and establish stakeholder engagement with Government stakeholders, implementing partners and private sector in both Australia and Cambodia.
  • Lead on coordination and submission of inception phase deliverables and ensure relevant and timely updates are provided as required.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between all stakeholders, including with implementing partners.
Requirements
  • At least 10-15 years of program management experience in managing complex, large or multi-country programs focused on climate resilience, water resource management, WASH, international development or related fields.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Development / International Studies, Integrated Water Management, WASH, Agriculture, Climate Change, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing competing demands and in working with diverse stakeholders, including consortium partners, government officials, government agencies, NGOs, private sector and donors.
