**About the organisation**
Sustainability Victoria (SV) is a Victorian Government statutory authority. SV's purpose is to accelerate Victoria's transition to a circular, climate resilient clean economy. SV's new strategy SV2030 outlines the bold changes required over this "Decade of Action" to achieve this transformation. SV invests deeply in partnerships with its stakeholders, from business and local government through to community groups and Victorian households. The organisation works on the ground, providing guidance, insights, incentives, recognition and promotion, and evidence to inform policy and build the case for change.

**About the role**
Reporting directly to the CEO as a part of SV's Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Operations Officer carries responsibility for building on SV's strong foundations of operational excellence, with a mindset of exceptional governance, continuous improvement, and customer service to the organisation. This includes oversight of SV's core corporate functions including finance, technology, governance, legal, regulatory compliance and business performance.

**About you**
You are a collaborative, values-driven leader with proven capabilities in leading across organisations. Pragmatic and innovative with a continuous improvement mindset, you are able to balance operational and strategic priorities in fast-moving environments. You are future focused and make decisions that support SV now and in the longer-term. You are confident engaging with high profile external stakeholders, with an understanding of the political context in which SV operates. Having proven yourself in a senior leadership role, you are now ready to put your abilities to work in an organisation dedicated to ensuring Victoria's climate resilience.
