Job Title: Global HR Business Partner for International Programs

Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in Brisbane, supporting international development programs across the East Asia and Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in generalist HR roles, with expertise in performance management and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to program teams, focusing on people and cultural issues, employment practices, and program operations.
  • Collaborate with business managers and leaders to solve complex HR-related problems, leveraging technical expertise and regulatory knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring a trusted advisor and business partner reputation.
  • Support the globalization and standardization of employee lifecycle processes and procedures at the program level.
  • Facilitate the roll-out and adoption of HR organizational-wide initiatives, staff development, and staff engagement strategies at the program level.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in generalist HR roles, with strong performance management and employee relations skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining high-level stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working within a shared service HR model alongside Centres of Expertise teams.

What We Offer:

This is a permanent position with flexible work arrangements, requiring some international travel (approximately 10-15% of time).
