Assistant Manager

SOFITEL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our Front Office and Concierge teams, ensuring exceptional guest service standards are maintained throughout the guest's stay.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Service Excellence: Ensure effective supervision of all guest arrivals and departures, maintaining high standards of service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Utilize Opera software to ensure accuracy in use and produce reports to meet operational needs, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise lobby services, including Concierge and lobby table service, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient operations.
- Communication and Liaison: Regularly liaise with Engineering and Housekeeping departments to ensure requests are completed quickly, prioritizing guest needs.
- Loyalty Program Promotion: Promote and ensure strong communication of ALL (Accor Live Limitless) as a key loyalty benefits program, enhancing guest engagement and loyalty.
- Public Area Maintenance: Ensure public areas are clean and well-presented, with regular monitoring to maintain high standards.
- Management Presence: Ensure management support and presence is visible on Front Desk and in the lobby during key times, maintaining a strong leadership presence.
- Reservations and Yield Management: Daily liaison with the Reservations office to ensure accuracy in room allocation and maximize yield, optimizing revenue.
- Emergency Response: Assume responsibilities as Chief Fire Warden and primary First Aid officer as required, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Staff Development: Openly communicate with staff, providing regular training and feedback to enhance performance and growth.
- 2+ years of previous leadership experience in a hotel Front Office department.
- Passion for providing an exceptional guest experience.
- Able to work a flexible 24/7 rotating roster, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Experience with Opera software desirable.
- First aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol certifications desirable.
