This position is available in our Melbourne or Sydney office. As a Lead Broker, you will spearhead, manage and support a small team who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our portfolio of real estate clients' insurance requirements and placements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong business relationships with commercial property clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and needs.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective risk management strategies.
- Oversee the policy renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and negotiate terms with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Insurance broking experience, ideally looking after an SME or commercial book
- Prior experience managing a small team
- Strong knowledge of retail and domestic insurance products
- Experience in developing risk management strategies tailored to client needs
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. They will also be highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
