Risk Management Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with a focus on operational risk and compliance frameworks.
- This is a senior-level role that requires influence and collaboration across various functions within the organization.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data from various sources and draw insights. They will also be a strong problem solver, able to get to the root cause of risks and incidents.
The Senior Risk Manager will report to the Principal, Member Risk, and work cohesively across the Member domain to ensure we are taking the right amount of risk to deliver on our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Risk Team to ensure 1st line risk is managed in accordance with the Fund's Risk Management Framework.
- SUPPORT AND OVERSIGHT IN RELATION TO THE MANAGEMENT OF MATERIAL RISKS ACROSS THE MEMBER DOMAIN PROVIDE INPUT AND INSIGHTS INTO ENTERPRISE RISKS AS REQUIRED.
- LEAD AND DELIVER ON PRACTICAL ADVICE AND GUIDANCE FOR RISK MANAGEMENT TO CONTRIBUTE TO LIFTING RISK MATURITY ACROSS THE DOMAIN. CREATING A CULTURE OF RISK AWARENESS.
- OVERSEE THE DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY OF A CONTROLS TESTING PLAN FOR THE MEMBER DOMAIN.
- 7+ years' experience in risk management, ideally working in Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge and experience with operational risk and compliance frameworks.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data from various sources and draw insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to get to the root cause of risks and incidents.
- Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure situations.
- High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters.
