Risk Management Expert

As a seasoned risk management expert, you will play a pivotal role in bolstering our organisation's resilience and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish effective incident and breach management frameworks, policies, tools, systems, and processes.
- Conduct thorough compliance assessments of incidents to support regulatory breach assessment processes.
- Present findings to relevant forums as required.
- Provide strategic advice and insights on compliance matters to key stakeholders, including boards and committees.
- Review and monitor compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Process and Reporting:
- Prepare and present concise, data-driven reports on risk and compliance matters for management and related boards.
- Work closely with colleagues to drive alignment and consistent implementation of risk and compliance frameworks.
Strategy & People:
- Contribute to the development of priorities and work plans for the Risk & Compliance function.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and their potential impact on risk and compliance environments.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Relevant post-graduate and/or professional qualifications are desirable.
- At least 5+ years' experience in a similar role or compliance-related experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
