Financial Services Risk Management Expert

This is a challenging and rewarding role that will give you the opportunity to work with clients across various sectors of financial services. You will be part of a high-performing team of risk management professionals who are passionate about building a better working world.

As a key member of our team, your main responsibilities will include delivering engagements, managing an end-to-end component, including production of deliverables on time and to required quality standards, client management and supervision of more junior team members.

  • Deliver projects effectively by producing deliverables on schedule and meeting required quality standards.
  • Help clients understand their business models, financial structures, and specific risk exposures.
  • Evaluate client financial and non-financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risks.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of risks, including regulatory requirements.
  • Design risk management frameworks to help clients manage their most important risks.
  • Conduct due diligence assessments to vet risks involved in mergers, acquisitions, or other business transactions.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions to enable efficient risk management and new insight.
Key Skills and Qualifications for Success
  • At least 1 year's experience in a financial services consulting firm or major financial institution, focusing on disciplines such as risk culture, conduct, and compliance, regulatory and risk reporting, financial crime, financial risk, operational risk, and risk technology.
  • Experience supervising consultants (for Manager role).
  • High level of drive and initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Degree in finance, commerce, law, STEM, or similar field, with post-graduate qualifications viewed favorably.
