About the Role

This is a key position in our organisation, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our VET learning experiences across a range of subjects. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and research skills, as well as experience in creating engaging digital learning resources using tools like H5P and Moodle.

You will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, compliance, technology, and delivery teams to ensure content is educationally effective, compliant, and aligned with best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging course content and activities that improve student engagement, knowledge retention, and completion rates.
  • Develop learning and assessment materials for alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Apply adult learning principles and organisational learning design standards to all content.
  • Curate and integrate external resources to enrich student learning.
  • Support continuous improvement by analysing feedback and driving innovation in learning design.
About You
  • You hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with 5+ years of experience in instructional design in the VET or adult education sector.
  • You have a deep understanding of pedagogical theory and instructional design models, especially in self-paced and online learning.
  • You have proven ability to develop learning and assessment content aligned with Australian Training Packages and AQF standards.
  • You have demonstrated experience in creating engaging digital learning resources using tools like H5P and Moodle.
  • You possess exceptional writing, research, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You have strong knowledge of RTO compliance, including ASQA standards and assessment validation.
  • You are passionate about learning innovation and committed to improving learner outcomes and experiences.
