Insurance Claims Examiner
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to join our team as an Insurance Claims Examiner. In this role, you will be responsible for handling insurance claims, investigating their legitimacy, and negotiating fair settlements with insurers, claimants, or their legal representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a professional relationship with insurers over the telephone
- Investigate claims by interviewing policyholders, claimants, and witnesses, gathering information and reviewing evidence such as estimates, photos, and hospital records
- Negotiate fair and cost-effective settlements with insurers, claimants, or their legal representatives
- Post-secondary diploma in business or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a claims or insurance environment
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience handling home insurance claims, with working knowledge of home policies, processes, and property-related investigations
