Import Operations Specialist

This role is accountable for delivering operational excellence in managing customer import orders. The successful candidate will efficiently handle day-to-day tasks, ensure accurate documentation and timely delivery of goods to customers.

  • Undertake operational tasks as per business requirements.
  • Liaise with internal teams to achieve seamless execution.
  • Monitor cargo availability and communicate delays to stakeholders.
  • Manage job registrations and prepare necessary documents for Customs clearance.
  • Collect charges, invoice and record job costings accurately.

Additional responsibilities include meeting quality, environmental and OH&S standards. Compliance with procedures outlined in the client manual is essential.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
  • Accurate data entry and management skills.
  • Familiarity with job registration and documentation processes.
