Procurement Transformation Lead

This leadership role will drive strategic transformation in the procurement function, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value-for-money across the organisation. The successful candidate will design and deliver a centre-led procurement model, aligning with the organisation's strategic goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a category management approach to achieve cost savings and improve supplier engagement.
  • Provide expertise in complex procurement, contract lifecycle management, and vendor performance.
  • Align procurement with organisational objectives, sustainability commitments, and Catholic Social Teaching values.
  • Build and lead a high-performing procurement team with commercial acumen and service excellence culture.
  • Drive supplier engagement and third-party contracting compliance, embedding probity and transparency.
About You:

We seek an experienced procurement leader who combines commercial expertise with values-based leadership. You will have a track record of delivering results in complex organisations and possess tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Finance, Procurement, or a related field.

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field.
  • Membership with CIPS, CPP, or equivalent recognised procurement body.
  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement risk, and vendor assurance.
  • Strong digital capability with ERP/procurement platforms and analytics tools.
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and building organisational capability.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to ethical procurement, sustainability, and social responsibility.
