About the Opportunity
As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for defining and implementing engineering best practices, championing modern software development methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and implementation of engineering best practice across the team.
- Champion modern software development methodologies, including cloud-native solution design, automation, and observability.
- Plan, develop, and execute short- and long-term plans to meet the needs of our members.
- Review and oversee tooling across the technology stack to ensure relevance and alignment with strategic goals.
- Identify and coordinate the implementation of appropriate development methodologies, documentation, and tools.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience or demonstrated capability in similar roles.
- 4+ years of leadership experience leading engineers within the digital landscape.
- Experience in designing and implementing customer/member-facing web and mobile apps, with expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices patterns.
- Strong understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and building high-quality solutions.
