About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems & Reporting Officer to join our dynamic team at the City of Parramatta. As a key member of our Community Services Division, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and updating multiple business applications and performance reporting environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of Business Systems and Process best practices tailored to the Community Services business model.
  • Drive operational excellence as the Organisation's subject matter expert on the Perfect Gym application and its integration with the Council's other applications.
  • Work closely with the Community Services Business Systems team to maximise the City's investment in our systems and offer support and training to our system users.
  • Research new system functionalities and present business improvement initiatives to Users.
  • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems.
  • Responsible for the overall end-to-end performance of assigned applications.
  • Provision of high quality, responsive and professional advice and support to staff.
  • Provide financial forecast data on the cost of delivering the assigned applications.
  • Promote and maintain effective relationships with all external business partners.

About You

We are looking for a proactive problem solver who can think on their feet and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have at least minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Administrator, preferably using Perfect Gym or a similar cloud-based ERP application within a medium or large organisation.

You will also have:

  • Degree qualification in Business, Management, Technology, Computer Science (or related discipline) or a significant amount of comparable industry experience in a Business Systems administration capacity.
  • A Cert IV Train the trainer certification highly desirable.
  • A Lean Six Sigma certification highly desirable.
  • Proven intermediate to advanced skills in Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and relationship building with a diverse range of stakeholders, including vendors, operations teams and ICT, and Finance.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $109,727.67 - $120,809.49 plus 11.5% superannuation.
