Job Description

At EC Carpets, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business value and insight through your analysis and business partnering skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate costing systems concerning labour, materials, and production methods.
  • Responsible for all production reporting and analysis to deliver operational performance objectives.
  • Maintain BOMs, and standard costs of raw materials and finished goods within our systems.
  • Report on labour & material efficiency, machine utilisation, throughput, and other key manufacturing metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process redesign, and provide support to key stakeholders with regards to improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for the integrity of General Ledger (Inventory, COGS & Manufacturing variance accounts).

Candidate Profile:

  • You are degree qualified Accountant.
  • Preferably hold CA / CPA, or ACCA / CIMA qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing business.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, techniques, and methodology.
  • Strong Financial Modelling Skills.
  • Good understanding of PowerBI will be an advantage.
  • You will possess confident, and engaging communication skills.
