We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at Wilson Mining, a leading provider of specialist contracting services to the Australian coal mining sector. Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Work closely with small teams to deliver excellent results
- Hands-on: Ready to get underground, mentor and lead crews when required
- Project management: Coordinate projects, manage workforce, provide budget estimates, report to internal and external stakeholders
- Business development: Manage and maintain relationships with clients to understand and deliver their needs
- Technical expertise: Understand injection plans, deliver training, create work instructions; SOPs, SWIs, JSAs
- Safety leadership: Comfortable in addressing, investigating and implementing effective controls. Facilitation of Risk Assessments
- Procurement: Maintain, order and audit product and stock
- Good communication: Strike up conversation with operators, managers, clients, corporate teams
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, driven and flexible. Working as part of a small team, you will need to have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude and be willing to lead by example with your crew. - Experience in strata support, organizing and supervising crews
- Delivery of work that meets mine site requirements and industry standards
- Displaying excellent safety leadership
- Demonstrated underground coal mining experience with longwall, outbye; not mandatory but preferable to have experience in polymeric applications/injections
- Current Standard 11
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical
- Cert IV Trainer/Assessor
- S123 & G2
- Valid Driver's Licence
