About the Opportunity:
Mastermyne Coal Operations is seeking a skilled Mining Coordinator to join our Cook Colliery project team. As a key member of our operation, you will play a vital role in achieving safety and production targets.
About the Role:
The Mining Coordinator will provide direction to Mastermyne employees and subcontractors, liaising with external representatives to ensure successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating coal development and cut & flit works
- Planning, managing, and delivering projects within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Completing and analyzing reports in a timely manner
- Conducting hazard and risk assessments and communicating with the team
- Promoting and participating in mine safety initiatives
- Ensuring activities align with the planned schedule
- Identifying process improvements and implementing changes
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Providing leadership and setting positive examples for the team
