Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Case Worker

About the Role
As a Kin Connected Case Worker, you will be part of a team dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children involved in the Child Protection System.
This role involves working with our teams to deliver services that empower the voice of the child and their families, while fostering a safer environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in case management for children and families, aiming for a quality support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.
- Support the coordination of Family Led Decision Making (FLDM) meetings for developing family plans, safety plans, and/or case plans.
- Gather and record statistical data relevant to measuring performance against agreed indicators.
- Contribute to organisational and community activities advancing the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Requirements:
- A current Blue Card is essential for suitability to work with children and young people.
- Possess a valid driver's licence.
- A commitment to adhere to Wuchopperen policies and procedures.
