Delivering Quality Care Services to Vulnerable Youth

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kin Connected Case Worker. This role is an Identified position, meaning we are committed to employing an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person in this position.

The purpose of this role is to participate in the delivery of the Kin Connected Program, which aims to preserve the safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children by empowering their voice and fostering strong relationships with their families.

This position works closely with other members of the Kin Connected and Child Wellbeing teams to ensure effective outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of Kin Connected Services
  • Case Management for Children and Families
  • Supporting the Kin Connector Coordinator
  • Collaboration with Family Participation Program Team
  • Statistical Data Collection and Analysis
  • Organisational and Community Activities
  • Maintenance of Wuchopperen's Policies and Procedures

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Community Services or related field, and at least 4 years of experience in case management. They must also hold a current Blue Card, possess a valid driver's licence, and commit to adhering to Wuchopperen's policies and procedures.
