Family Wellbeing Worker
">This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
">As a Family Wellbeing Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that delivers services aimed at preserving the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children and their families.
">Key Responsibilities:">- ">
- Deliver family-centred support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children involved in the child protection system, in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.">
- Collaborate with other members of the team, including Child Safety Service Centres, to provide quality support services and achieve positive outcomes for clients.">
- Support the development and implementation of case management plans, partnering with local stakeholders and networks to ensure effective service delivery.">
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Community Services, Child and Family Intervention, Youth Work or equivalent experience, as well as demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Child Protection legislation, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and case management principles.
">A strong ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment is essential, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
">Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage is also an essential requirement for this position, given the need for cultural competency and connection with the communities we serve.
