Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with global HR Business Partners to exchange best practices and help shape a unified HR strategy across various regions. This role also entails leadership responsibilities, requiring a seasoned people manager.
  2. Possess exceptional communication abilities, including the capacity to coordinate across different time zones and adjust schedules for meetings, which may include late evening sessions.
  3. Drive the advancement of HR services by enhancing employee engagement, executing comprehensive HR strategies, and tailoring policies to meet the needs of both UK and Australian operations.
  4. Refine HR workflows, improve employee handbooks, and spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting psychosocial health and well-being within the organization.
  5. Engage in fostering constructive relationships with unions, showcasing strong negotiation capabilities, and striving for mutually advantageous outcomes.
  6. Identify and address the learning and development requirements of the Australian sector to facilitate organizational growth and enhance employee satisfaction.
  7. Manage general employee relations along with performance management and development responsibilities.
  8. Assist in the implementation of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) throughout the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in business partnering and have a background in managing teams. Proven experience in employee relations and industrial relations is crucial. Familiarity with a matrix organizational structure and an understanding of global operations will be advantageous.
