Senior Legal Advisor

We are seeking a Legal Professional to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Lawyer, this role involves working closely with management and staff to identify, mitigate, and advise on legal risks associated with business activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with management and staff to assess and manage legal risks
- Providing expert advice and guidance on complex technical issues and changing priorities
- Assisting with the management of litigation and drafting legal documentation
- Performing advanced professional work under general supervision
- Managing external legal advisors and providing training to the business on legal matters
- Monitoring and advising on legal and regulatory issues
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in law and current practicing certificate
- 3-5 years of post-admission legal experience in commercial work, litigation, and intellectual property
- Strong technical legal skills in negotiation, advice, and drafting
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- A solid understanding of legal and business principles relevant to a statutory corporation
- The ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
