Event Producer Role

The Event Producer is responsible for delivering a range of civic events. This includes Mayoral receptions, park openings, community and commemorative events, official functions, ceremonial occasions, and the Council's Australian Citizenship program.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver an annual calendar of events.
  • Work collaboratively to identify and capitalise on event opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Produce high-quality work within tight deadlines with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and work independently.


Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in event management, project management, or business administration.
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end events.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking experience.
