Wellbeing Practitioner Role Overview

The Wellbeing Practitioner plays a vital role in empowering veterans to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

  • Work with veterans and their families within homelessness and financial hardship programs.

Key responsibilities include assessing clients, preparing case management plans, and conducting home and hospital visits to provide emotional support and assistance as required.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will bring:

  1. A completed degree qualification in Humanities/Arts or Health Sciences, along with 3-5 years' experience in a relevant position.
  2. Extensive knowledge and experience in Strength-based Case Management.
  3. Aptitude for completing your ATDP or MILADW001 in Welfare.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency in planning and managing client workloads across sensitive environments and situations.
  5. Superior communication and interpersonal skills to rapidly build rapport and trust.
