Project Manager Job Description

Drive project success by leading cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality outcomes.

As a seasoned professional in the construction industry, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.

  • Client Relationships:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee project financial performance, preparing progress claims, managing costs, and maintaining positive cash flow.
    • Optimize profitability through value management strategies and scope control.
  • Contracts Management:
    • Manage contracts, procurements, and subcontractor conditions, ensuring timely execution and compliance with terms.
    • Administer contracts, resolve disputes, and finalize accounts after project completion.
  • Project Planning:
    • Establish project programs, identifying risks, opportunities, and resource requirements.
    • Align procurement with project timelines, driving key meetings, and implementing cost-effective practices.
  • HSEQ Management:
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and protocols on all projects.
    • Maintain a safe working environment, complying with policy and regulations.
  • Leadership:
    • Provide leadership to project teams, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and successful milestone delivery.
  • Design Management:
    • Manage design inputs, distributing information to project teams, consultants, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • Sound experience within the Construction Industry, preferably in commercial fit-out and refurbishment.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in Timberline and Procore desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of project management techniques, including sub-contractor tender evaluations and quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of customer service and ability to identify customer needs.
  • Experience in providing assistance to tender submissions and project planning.
