The Role

We're hiring a part-time (0.6 FTE) Mid-Level Relationship Manager to grow and steward a portfolio of generous mid-level donors across Australia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on connection, is results-driven, and has a strong customer service mindset.

You'll manage a national portfolio of 400+ committed supporters, deepening engagement and inspiring increased philanthropic support for our international programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of 300–500 mid-level donors
• Use moves management strategies to cultivate and upgrade giving
• Develop tailored communications plans based on donor interests
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications for seamless donor journeys
• Identify and qualify donors for major or planned giving
• Prepare compelling proposals and personalised impact reports
• Re-engage lapsed donors with targeted strategies
• Represent Opportunity at donor events and speaking engagements
• Track and report on KPIs including retention and donor growth

• Experience in fundraising, relationship management, customer service or sales
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Results-driven and comfortable working autonomously
• High emotional intelligence and integrity.
• Experience in the not-for-profit or international development sector
• Familiarity with donor databases and CRMs (e.g. Blackbaud).
