Dynamic Employee Relations Role

This is a challenging and rewarding fixed-term contract opportunity within the Employee and Labour Relations team. As an experienced professional in employee relations, you will provide expert support to employees and key stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.


Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, performance management, and grievances
  • Developing and implementing employee relations policies to ensure compliance and alignment with legislative changes
  • Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity
  • Leading workplace investigations into various matters, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in employee relations or HR in Australia and/or New Zealand
  • Relevant qualifications in Industrial Relations, Law, or Commerce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • A high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously, undertaking self-directed research and analysis
  • Previous experience in employee relations in a common law jurisdiction is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of the NZ employee relations framework would be highly beneficial
