We are seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join our Operations team in Sydney.

This role is pivotal in enhancing operational excellence through process improvement and project management. By leveraging data-driven insights, this position will support evidence-based decision-making, fostering a more enriched and continuously evolving operational environment.

The successful candidate will lead, develop, and implement process optimisation and improvement strategies across various business units. They will identify continuous improvement initiatives, projects, activities, and tools that will improve operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.

Data quality and integrity will be a cornerstone of reporting, with the development of dashboards and reports across various functional areas, facilitating informed decision-making across the organisation.

This role requires collaboration with various teams, management, and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organisation.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic analytical support through data consolidation and analysis to deliver data-driven recommendations and business-critical solutions.

About the Role:

  • Lead process improvement and project management initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement process optimisation strategies across various business units.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through the development of dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to enhance data analytics solutions.
  • Provide strategic analytical support to deliver data-driven recommendations and business-critical solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, process mapping, and optimisation techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience in team Management.
  • Experience in database concepts, data modelling, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Skill at promoting a cohesive team environment with the ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Experience with anti-fraud and anti-money laundering.
  • Experience in the financial and banking sectors.
