Reliability Strategist

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain engineering and maintenance reliability work procedures that drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate asset optimisation activities and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Lead a team in conducting platform system health reviews to provide options for sustainable improvement, sustainably reduce maintenance costs, and enhance asset availability.
  • Review and perform root cause analysis on system failures and downtime to ascertain failure modes and implement corrective actions in revised strategies and instructions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to review design specifications and propose modifications to improve reliability within performance requirements.
  • Manage governance for approvals, documentation, and tracking of all reliability actions and areas for continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and relevant qualifications.
  • Authorised to undertake asset management activities within contractual constraints.
  • Eligible to obtain SQEP and DAR Engineering Delegation Authority within an Authorised Engineering Organisation.
  • Experience in analysing needs and allocating to specifications.
  • Expertise in Logistic Support Analysis, including Maintenance and Operator Task Analysis and LSA Reports.
  • Proven experience in managing teams with strong organisational skills.
  • Responsibility for engineering decisions within complex regulatory frameworks.
