Public Relations Account Coordinator

The Public Relations Account Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting senior team members to achieve client campaign goals, enhance media relations, and drive strategic PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay up-to-date on client industry publications, national/regional news outlets
  • Develop actionable client communications materials, such as status reports, campaign summaries, and activity reports under guidance and supervision
  • Deliver exceptional client service through decisive consulting, problem-solving, and relationship-building
  • Actively participate in team and client meetings, and confidently share and present views internally and externally
  • Monitor media coverage of clients and assist the account team with daily administrative tasks
  • Coordinate press materials and events, including press kits, releases, and conferences
  • Stay informed about social media trends and collaborate with seniors on implementing digital programs
Business Development:
  • Listen attentively during client meetings for potential opportunities and suggest ideas to senior team members that could lead to new business
  • Support senior team members with research, case studies, and materials for client presentations, new business proposals, pitches, and award submissions
Teamwork:
  • Demonstrate active teamwork and proactively assist senior team members in designing and implementing effective client strategies
  • Be open to ideas, opinions, and insights from team members and work collaboratively to support each other
  • Consistently demonstrate integrity and credibility, building trust through inclusive behavior
Financial Management:
  • Communicate time management effectively to ensure business profitability
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers like couriers, venues, and caterers
  • Support senior team members with billing and invoicing
Agency Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize agency resources and keep profiles updated
  • Help attract top talent by showcasing agency capabilities and network
  • Adhere to agency confidentiality and code of ethics

Requirements:

  • 6 months+ experience in a fast-paced, preferably agency environment
  • Proven ability to thrive in dynamic settings, demonstrating a self-starter attitude and strong organizational skills
  • Highly agile, able to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively
