Key Responsibilities
  • Strategically lead rooms and events to ensure efficiency, cost management, and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and execute commercial, sales, and revenue strategies, adapting swiftly to changing market conditions.
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations across the Australian portfolio, with a visible, hands-on approach.
  • Ensure hotels consistently achieve guest experience, employee engagement, and financial performance targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach cross-functional teams to deliver results and cultivate a high-performing culture.
  • Partner with hotel GMs, Sales & Marketing, and Shared Services to optimise performance, strengthen operations, and grow market share.
  • Monitor KPIs, review financial reports, and identify opportunities to optimise revenue, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Drive innovation and service excellence while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

 

About the Ideal Candidate
  • Proven success as a Regional/Area Manager overseeing multiple hotels.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth and optimise operations.
  • Exceptional communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Skilled at leading, motivating, and developing high-performance teams.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline; 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in product management.
