On behalf of our client, we are looking for a seasoned executive to lead our Australian operations.

The role will be responsible for overseeing the establishment and growth of our client's business within the Australian market.

The daily duties and responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for Australian operations, including staffing, facilities, IT, and internal processes/operational procedures
- Spearhead the successful launch of our client's business in Australia and develop and implement growth strategies.
- Improve and develop financial efficiencies, control costs, and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes/tools. Manage working capital in accounts receivable and inventory.
- Provide regular financial reports to senior executives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build brand awareness, roll out marketing strategies, and develop competitive cost proposals to secure customer base.
- Attract top talent to build the Australian team in country in line with our client's internal job roles and responsibilities
- Develop and lead the Australian Team, ensure adequate upskilling, training, and development is rolled out to support our new team and set our team up for success
- Successfully build, coach, and develop team members in line with our client's culture and values.
- Manage functions including sales, customer success, and development, to ensure a best-in-class customer experience including creating formal procedures aligned with business strategy and planning
- Identify areas of opportunity within the Australian market, building client base, and securing our client's marketplace.
- Developing implementation timelines, managing towards project milestones, addressing client concerns, meeting, and exceeding client expectations through the go-live of a project, and managing relationships on an ongoing basis to ensure retention.
- Oversee and drive regional operations in line with the global operation strategy and company objectives
- Strategically plan local office expansion in terms of headcount, organization, and capacity planning
- Collaborate with other regional leads in putting forward new incentives, sharing strategy, and best practices
- Work with the Operation team in managing global production activity, assessment capacity, headcount planning, putting forward new incentives, etc.
- Work with Pillar Leads in Operation as to drive changes and align with the company objectives
- Define with Management and the local team leaders and teams with clear roles and responsibilities, and manage expectations
- Conduct regular performance reviews, appraisals, and salary reviews with the local team leaders and teams
- Develop, provide avenues for support, coach, motivation, and reward to respective team leaders and teams
- Guide the development of skills and competencies of team members, including identifying training and development needs
- Collaborate and guide fellow team leaders to share best practices
- Advise local teams or departments or management teams with best strategy and practices based on local market characteristics & trends
- Promote and embody the company's vision and values by leading by example
- Ensure a healthy and inclusive work environment
- Keep an environment oriented toward trust, open communication, creative thinking
- Keep a cohesive team environment while maintaining respect both within the team, and towards other team members
- Respect various local cultures and advise the best practice for local operations
- Give feedback to local HR department in relation to local hiring strategy
- Support the recruitment process, including CV screening, interview, managing attendance, and team capacity

**Education** - Bachelor degree or higher qualification desirable. Industry experience may substitute.

**Experience & Skills**
- 5+ years of experience implementing solutions and/or managing the strategic overall operation of a business
- Strong client relationships with a strong understanding for what makes a product a success for clients.
- Solid track record of working in a very fast-paced environment
- Solid experience managing cross-functional teams with a strong ability to interact with business clients and internal teams simultaneously to bridge gaps and manage communications.
- Proficiency at managing and prioritizing multiple priorities simultaneously coupled with the ability to anticipate/resolve implementation bottlenecks/issues before they happen.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information in verbal, written, or visual form to a variety of audiences, from the internal team to client executives.
- The ability to quickly establish trust and credibility with clients coupled with solid decision-making skills
