Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at News Corp Australia. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to the Enterprise Technology function and work closely with the Head of Enterprise Technology, internal support and procurement functions, as well as application vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the licensing renewal process for all applications in the portfolio
  • Coordinate contracts with vendors, including managing invoicing and raising of purchase orders
  • Maintain an up-to-date Enterprise Applications Service Catalogue
  • Manage the licensing pool for all applications, including carrying out regular license audits in alignment with the audit schedule
  • Grant and revoke access to Enterprise Applications as per users' requests
  • Create and maintain all documentation in the Enterprise Application portfolio
  • Maintain and coordinate the schedule for ongoing engagement with vendors
  • Raise purchase orders for all purchases relating to the Enterprise Systems and Publishing Operations team
  • Other administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience coordinating the procurement process working between internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Can demonstrate a strong sense of pride in owning administrative duties related to the operations of a department
  • Although this is an administrative role, it would suit someone who has a keen interest in technology
  • Has a great attention to detail while being able to manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with technology landscapes, especially in the application space
  • Experience using collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Trello, Slack, Miro would be advantageous
  • Previous experience carrying out user access requests for technology systems would be advantageous
  • Experience coordinating between a vast group of vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet tools
