About the Role

This Service Assistant position requires delivering effective support to our hospitality function, including catering, cleaning, and laundry services. You will provide an empathetic and personal approach, enhancing the lives of our residents.

  • Previous experience in catering or food service is preferred but not essential.
  • You will be part of a dynamic team, interacting with people and making a positive impact.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
  • Complete required documentation and reporting accurately.
  • Respond to residents' queries and requests in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Launder duties include loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping, or ironing linen.
  • Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food preparation, serving meals and snacks, clearing dining areas, and dishwashing.
  • Cleaning duties involve general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal, and living areas.
Requirements and Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Cleanliness or catering experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts throughout the week is required.
  • A strong understanding of work health, safety, and hygiene practices is expected.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits include:
